Big Boy Bed!

Friday night marked a grand rite of passage for our Bear....He slept in his brand new Big Boy Bed! Daddy put it together on Thursday, and Jonah enjoyed playing on and around the frame while the mattress and bedding aired out. Then last night was the big Attempt. And guess what? He didn't seem to be phased by the move one bit! When I laid him down, he picked up his head and looked around a bit. But after we reassured him that this was HIS big-boy-bed, he smiled and laid his head back down, cuddling Mr. Bear and Mr. Elephant (his stuffed animal friends) under his arms, and closed his eyes. A full night's sleep later proved it wasn't at all tramatic. And he napped in it again today. And he fell asleep in it again tonite! Wow, what a Big Boy we have. So strange to think he'll (most likely)be in a bed for the rest of his life. sigh. They really do grow up too fast :)
